Front of the house Arched wall to strait wall

Hello, please if anyone can In lighten this, my house was struck by a uninsured car and have to rebuilt the front wall, which was an arched front door, now to avoid an expensive arched door we decided to have start wall and door, of course we used lintel and all safety, my house is not under listed building or reservation area can I rebuilt the arched wall to a strait without planning commission to involve ?

If your home is not listed, not in a conservation area, and the doorway remains in the same position and size, replacing an arch with a straight lintel usually does not need planning permission. However, Building Regulations still may apply for structural work, so check with your local Building Control. Keep records of the work and any approvals for future reference.
