What's the best way to get rid of waste from a outdoor shower basin at rear of property,no wastepipe

Anonymous user 17/07/2025 - 8.13 AM

Recent moved into a new build house ,I have a dog so I plan on building a wash area as such in the garden . I have the shower tray allready but I'm certain the waste pipes go throught the front of the property ,and the only pipe at the back is a rainwater pipe . What's my best option for this waste water from this shower tray . All it'll be is at most a slightly muddy pooch or a pooch that's swam in the sea . According to drawings I had seen from the site there is a soil pipe inside the house that goes down in a corner of the house but obviously it'll be hard to tap into as it's on the inside of the house we're I'm on the outside Would be nice to know my options .

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The waste water from this set up would be described as GREY waste water. If you can’t access the soil pipe, I would build a sump that you could regularly access and empty into a foul manhole or toilet.
