Aqua channels promised in my new tarmac driveway not delivered

My contractors seemed to have done a great job but the promised aqua channels as drainage was my biggest reason for paying such a significant price I can’t see any anywhere. Should I be able to see them??

You can get very expensive ones that are actually under the tarmac with a pencil sized slit for the water to drain into. Most likely he’s just not used any to save money if you can’t see them tho. If you follow the slope they should be at the bottom of the garden. Didn’t he give a debrief when work was finished or a phone number you can ask him on?
