Fascias, Soffits & Guttering

Water droplets down fascia despite having felt trays fitted.

Stuart Clements 26/06/2025 - 12.32 PM

We had new fascia, soffits and guttering fitted 18 months ago and have since had felt trays fitted as we were getting water droplets on the front of our fascia. Despite this we still get those droplets. I've been in the loft after rain and there is no water inside them. Looking up in between the small gap between the facias and guttering I can see on the underside of the felt trays water. Not droplets but almost what you'd expect to see from water splashing. We have a very high angled roof and we had deep flow guttering fitted because the guttering simply couldn't take the water load when it rained heavily. Any ideas on anything else to try here or am I just going to have to live with it on the basis it doesnt appear to be getting inside the soffits itself?

Nothin to worry about it could be the rain hitting the facia

Have you checked the roof itself, could be the ridge letting by and water is going over the felt not under it, it would come out the by the eaves tray as it’s under the felt
