Looking to Fit Small Electric Water Heater in Kitchen

James Noble 12/06/2025 - 8.02 AM

Hi there, I’m looking to install a small under-sink hot water heater for my kitchen sink, ideally one that plugs into a standard socket (like the Hyco Speedflow SF3). I’ve got about 12 inches of vertical space under the sink, a cold water pipe available, and a 13A socket located nearby (behind the washing machine). I want it mainly for washing up — ideally enough hot water for two full sink loads per use. I'd like to know: Would the Hyco Speedflow SF3 be suitable? If not, what model would you recommend that fits the space? Would this require an expansion vessel or any extra fittings? Thanks for any help!
