Hot water tap sounds like a foghorn

A month ago the hot water tap in the sink upstairs in bathroom has started making a loud noise like a foghorn when I turn it up high. The one in the kitchen is ok. What can be the cause of this and would this be a reason for the hot water not being hot, only warm?

Could just be the cartridge in the tap. If all other hot water taps run warm there could be a issue

If it’s a flexible hose sometimes the connection to the tap has loosened off causing this noise, so slightly tighten the flex pipe . This should sort that noise out

Tap cartridge is the issue, not related anything hot water temperature.
Please replace cartridge that will be solved the problem.

The washer is worn and oscillating which creates the vibration replace washer sound will stop
