The sonic boom is in fact actual sonic pressure flow differential change between one pipe to another. If it has just started then try to open the hot slowly and let it run for a bit, also bleed your radiators and try to empty or lower any place where a reservoir of hot water is stored. Also turn off the input tap and open it less than what it was. Then slowly the the system fill up again. Try playing with main input tap to reduce flow. Also if you have any pressure release taps, use those too. You want to try and get all bubbles out of your system to prevent these sonic pressure flow changes from happenning, try to find a balance for your system. All else fails employ a plumber.
Unfortunately I am not a plumber but I understand this from a fluid flow dynamics perspective as a mechanical engineer, I am also here as an electrician.
