Repair to cast iron fireplace

We have a Victorian cast iron fireplace in our dining room. While, the mantle and exterior are in good condition, the interior and hearth are falling apart - we essentially have a gaping hole which is very breezy! I've been researching whether it would be better to find someone to repair the interior or to replace, but am unsure who might be able to help with this decision? Thanks
