I have a wall hung Duravit toilet and need to replace the seat.

There are no visible screws. The inside of the hinges have something that looks like buttons with a tiny hole in the middle of each. I am not sure if these are important. I am completely confused as to how I remove it. I have pictures but there's no facility to upload them

Hi pretty simple, there are 2 round white/chrome disc under the toilet seat to the left and right on the toilet seat are to buttons either side, press those in and pull up the seat and it will detach, flick of the 2 chrome/white caps and you will find a cross head screw unscrew them while pulling them, eventually you will hear something drop off onto the floor do the same both sides, job done. Or just Google it l!

Could these holes be for an allen key that would undo grub screws that could be holding the seat onto the pan? It is hard to tell from your description. However by putting these keywords into google 'wall hung duravit toilet seat removal' there are vary videos showing different models having their seats removed.
