DOES THIS LOOK LIKE ASBESTOS CEMENT BOARD IN BEDROOM CEILING ?

Hi Actually got a leak into the bedroom. Started to remove the wet plasterboard and came across another layer of something and wondered if it the boards are asbestos cement board ? House built around 1855. Oh how do i attach a pic pls thanks Hi, thank you for the replies. I couldn't work out how to add a photo and emailed Tech support and they have said you can't attach photos and nor can you send a reply to someone who has responded, all I do is like. So not sure what to do now. Help !

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear about the leak in your bedroom. It’s wise to be cautious when dealing with older building materials, especially considering the age of your house. Asbestos cement boards were commonly used in construction until the 1980s, so it’s possible that your house may contain them.

If it's original it's highly unliey to be asbestos as it was not around in the1800s
