connecting taps to pipes under sink

All sorted now, i think. thanks to everyone that responded to assist me. I have female flexi taps and need to cut the pipe so i can attach straight to the isolation valves. thanks all. I have a tap to install under bathroom sink, however I need something to link the end of the flexi cable from tap to the copper pipes under sink as no thread to attach the two. do I need a coupler? any advice would be amazing. hope this makes sense.

Hello Newyorker, for what I think you got you need a fitting called male-male also you need to know the fitting size. Probably you have a female in the pipe and a female in the connector from the water supply.

Hi,
The end of the sink flexi’s will screw directly onto 15mm isolation valves if you were to purchase them,with the isolation valves fitted to the copper open end pipes. This is your best solution as you have the ability to isolate the supply in the instance of a leak/ part replacement.

I'd recommend fitting a compression Lever valve to isolate and connect to that , simple

You can use Compression Coupler Male 15mm or straight onto a 15mm isolation valve.
