Boiler in airing cupboard, can I add shelving

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.47 PM

I am going to get a new boiler sometime this year and want to tidy up the cupboard its going to be in. I will be repalcing like for like with combi boiler in my airing cupboard. I already use this for storage, towels, loo roll, summer/winter quilts etc, but it lokks messy. Can I add shelving (removeable) around, infront, under the boiler?? What are the restrictions. Also the floor is just a few wooden slats which dont even fit well, can I get some kind of floor put in there??

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If you look in you boiler instructions there are clearances that you should follow as all boilers are different if you follows these and the shelving is removable for your engineer to access for service ect then you can do this no problem.
