Hudson reed shower leak
Anonymous user 27/02/2024 - 2.30 PM
We have this shower https://www.hudsonreed.co.uk/products/traditional/showers/white-topaz/TSVT101 Its leaking at the join between the two handles. Originally caused by the shower coming off the wall. Can I fix by replacing the bayonet or do I need a new unit?

Possibly take of the shower at the union nuts, wrap TPF tape around the threads and see if that stops the leak.

An electric shower is mostly cheaper to replace than fix when you factor in labour and parts, plus with a new shower you get a warranty.
