REmoval of Gas Fireplace, surround, hearth

Anonymous user 27/02/2024 - 2.30 PM

If I want a gas fireplace removed, including the surround and hearth, all plastered and made good, is there a go-to tradesman, or is it a combination of gas/builder/decorator that I'd need to arrange?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You would need a “gas safe” registered tradesman to disconnect the gas supply, i do not know any gas trades men that plaster and decorate also, so I’d suggest getting 2 different tradesmen to look at the job, we would gladly quote you on patching up, plastering and painting once the fireplace is removed, cheers Kyle and Team

you would need a gas fitter first, but most will do the whole job.

The easiest approach for yourselves, is to find a fireplace company, that can do all the works together, like us, MEDWAY STOVES LTD. They would then be able to give you one price for all the works, and can be completed in one day. much easier and better for you, the customer
