Location of On Demand Gas Water Heater

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.54 PM

Hi. Can I position my on demand gas water heater in my bathroom. I can build a wall cupboard to house it. Thank you.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As mentioned, a boiler may only be installed in bathroom zone 3. If your bathroom lacks a zone 3 or this zone is insufficient for a boiler installation, unfortunately, you cannot have a boiler added to your bathroom

If you respect gas and flue regulations you can install your water heater in the bathroom

It should never be connected, because if there is no air flow, the lack of oxygen in the bathroom will lead to incomplete heating of the water heater and the production of CO gas. Never install water heaters and other gas-burning appliances in bathrooms and unventilated spaces.
