Downstairs lights not working but upstairs ones are

Downstairs lights have gone off but upstairs are still on, checked the fuse board and nothing has tripped

Good morning looks like that the light bulb needs to be replaced or you need to look at the connection of the cable, there may be damage somewhere.

Hi, If anyone changed a light fitting or a light switch downstairs, might messed up the wiring. Or might have damage on the live conductor. Sounds like it require a test. Thanks

Hi, looks like a faulty bulb or mixed wiring. However, we have found many times the fuse(mcb) in the board isn't tight properly in the busbar. So, it will look not tripped the mcb but no contact was made in the busbar. Hope it helped.
