Ideal Vogue C32 losing pressure, had new expansion vessel

Boiler was losing pressure every couple of weeks just before Xmas then went to every day so engineer reinflated pressure vessel but lost pressure next day so came back and replaced pressure vessel and heat exchanger. As he left he said it might need repressurising within 2 weeks due to air in system? Worked fine from 14/12 to 4/1 and slight drop so topped up but then went off due to low pressure 8/1 and again 20/1. No leaks apparent and no sign of it coming out of the discharge pipe. Is it unusual for it to last 2/3 weeks if there is a leak - heating on constantly over Xmas

I believe the diverter valve is not sitting back on its seat properly When you switch on H/W it diverts from heating as it gives preference ,If it not sitting back on its seat the C/H is seeping into H/W all it takes is a cupful to seep for pressure to drop , it just takes a bit of debris to stop it Sitting back .

First i Would Check the Condense From The Flue and Fitted a small 3 Bar External Exspanhion Vessel and i would Check out Other Near By Propertys First? You Can Have a Cracked Combuston Chamber?

Try a bottle of miracle sealer. It's made by people who make ct1 I would guess there's a leak under the floor. Unless all the pipe work is surface and there's no staining on any of the ceiling. Also take the condense pipe of under the boiler and place a bowl there. DO NOT use boiler for 24 hrs. If there is water in the bowl after the 24 hr period it indicates the main heat exchanger has a leak.
