Underfloor heating intermittent pump failure

Anonymous user 20/02/2024 - 2.30 PM

We have a Continal underfloor heating system with 4 zones on a Heatmax master control module and a Wilo Para pump. It was installed in 2020 in a new build property. At the start of the recent cold snap the pump stopped functioning properly with a red led indicator flashing. It occurs sometime after the thermostats have called for heat not immediately. Resetting the thermostats to all not call for heat so the system turns off and then increasing the thermostat to again call for heat the pump seems happy again for a while. I thought it was a pump problem at first. The manual suggested voltage issue or overheating, but understand these rarely go wrong so suspected the control module for the pump, thermostats and actuators. Is there anything I can do to test or further identify the issue to resolve it?
