I am looking to fit an oriel glass box window seat to my extension and have been told that a builder will have to build the base and insulated. Does anyone know how i can determine what the base needs to be?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The base will need to be timber

Best option would be to speak to the manufacturer of the windows.
