In theory yes, but certainly not the best solution, as built-under appliances are designed to fill an 870-900mm high space, but with a 720 door and a 150 recess at the bottom to take the continuous plinth.
By putting this appliance in a tower, you would need an 870 high door as you would not of course have plinth; then when you opened the fridge door you would see the bottom bits that would normally be covered by plinth.
As well as looking unsightly, you would be using 900mm of tower space for a 720 high fridge.
Better solution is for an 'in column' fridge that is designed to sit in a tower, these are 875mm high and are all fridge, e.g. no wasted plinth line. Look on line at CDA FW422 to get the idea.
Another option for some extra fridge space is for an in-column column' 3/4 integrated fridge; these are generally around 1.200 high giving space for a door above and below, plus the benefit of an extra shelf in the fridge.
Take a look at CDA 197L, around 370.00 on line, to get an idea.
Hope this helps!
