Gas to electric hob, Boiler moved and radiators replaced to a new spot

Anonymous user 05/03/2024 - 2.30 PM

UPDATE: thank you both for your help for question 1. It does have a certificate for when it was first installed 6 years ago but the current owner (property I am buying) has since moved it, so I’m trying to work out what paperwork there should be. Hello Apologies in advice as I’ll repost this under other headings as I don’t know which expert I need! I am in the process of buying a place. 1. Boiler was installed a few years back and has since been moved and reinstalled. Does this need any kind of compliance/regulation or completion certificate? 2. New radiators have been installed and moved to a new location. Does this need any kind of compliance/regulation or completion certificate? 3. There used to be a gas cooker and now an electric hob has been installed. Does this need any kind of compliance/regulation or completion certificate? Does there need to be any sort of certificate for where the gas has been sealed off? Thanks.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Relocate the boiler and gas pipe . If that was done few years back boiler and gas pipe you should have a certificate from the engineer that did the job !!! If not then you may have to get an engineer to check it out. However some regulations have changed since then! In gas and electric ⚡️. Hope Thad helps.

Regarding the boiler it will need to recommissioned and gas safe notification because its classed as a new install also the boiler must meet the current regulations ie be condensing and comply with current seasonal ratings and regs
