Gap between tiling floor and UPVC frame - what can I fill this with?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.54 PM

I've bought some fix and grout but don't want to use it without advice first. Would a silicone or caulk be a better alternative? The gap is 1cm at most.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Maybe a white silicone would be best, cut the nozzle fairly small on the end of the mastic tube.Get a small bowl, put some fairy liquid in the bowl, run the mastic along the gap, then lightly run your finger along the mastic that’s been dipped in the water/fairy liquid to stop the silicone sticking to you
