I was about to install a shower cubical a basin unit and other units I had bought for. my wash room but it was getting too much because of my health. I bought backer boards and the walls and cieling need skiming with plaster. But I feel I am up against it I have getting ha ndy men telling me they make their money when it's they get the materials how do I get over this obstical

Most handymen want as much money as possible which includes making a profit on materials. It could be also that if the job has already been started they won't want to finish it because it might not be to a professional standard. And the materials you have might not be what they would normally use.

It would be best if you found the right professional who knows his stuff, you can make new ones for the boards, it will be easier for you to finish the surface without sanding.

I am only charging labels not the material if I bay something I will pay bay card and I will show the receipt to customer thank you

Hi I would still carry out the work if the materials they got was of good quality & charge them a fair rate . As over charging customers don't pay.
