What is the cause of these damp patches

I have ground level moisture in the corner of my house. It does get worse when it rains. Its a semi detached ex council property built in the 60s. Wanting to know most likely cause and what is required to fix it Thank you

could be a multitude of reasons ,without looking at the damp area in question its really impossible to say

It sounds like a mixture between rising damp and penetrative damp also could be down to poor ventilation or not enough insulation in the cavity walls but unless inspected you will not find the root cause
