Is it okto have plastering done in this cold weather. I've heard the plaster doesn't dry properly etc. Please some advise would be greatly appreciated. Is it a myth or true?

Cold weather can indeed affect the drying time of plaster. Ideally, it's best to plaster in moderate temperatures, as colder conditions may lead to slower drying and potential issues. Consider consulting with a professional plasterer for advice tailored to your specific situation.

It’s ok outside to plaster but realistically it must be above 5 degrees centigrade

Generally inside plaster will not be affected. Rendering on the other hand the cold can cause problems.

I often find it's too hot in the winter because of the central heating!! Maybe warm up the house if your concern but talk to the plaster you hire he'll know best.

If it’s internal it won’t be a problem might just take a little longer, if it’s external not a great idea if the temperature is below 5 degrees
