Hot water to bath tub is not very warm

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.54 PM

The hot water supply to the bath in the house I have just bought is not very warm. I don't know if a Thermostatic Mixing Valve is fitted under the bath because the panel is difficult to remove ( so I may need to rip it out completely to have a better look). I would appreciate any advice. Thank you

If the hot water isn't sufficiently warm, it could be due to various issues. Before removing the panel, check if there are any adjustments on the water heater itself or if other faucets have similar issues. If you suspect a Thermostatic Mixing Valve, it might be worth consulting a plumber to assess and avoid unnecessary damage.
