Best hollow wall anchor for 15kg mirror

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.54 PM

Looking to hang a 15kg mirror (approx 1.1m x 0.9m) with two fixings. Instructions say to leave some of the screw exposed for hanging. Initially thought the wall (above covered fireplace) was plasterboard on brick so could just use some standard heavy duty wall plugs but after drilling pilot holes this looks to be hollow so just plasterboard. What would best the hollow wall anchor be for this weight?

Easyfix Hollow Wall Anchors 8-16mm M5 From screwfix is what I would use and you won't have a problem! I have hung a 75inch tv with them before and it's still there. Good luck 👍
