Electric cook/gas hob installation

Hello i will be moving to a new property within the next couple of weeks and i know theres gas central heating in the house. I have an electric cooker with a gas hob if they isnt a connection in the kitchen to fit this how difficult a job is it? I am only asking as i plan on flooring and carpeting the place before i move all my things in will any floors need to be lifted up to install the cooker? I honestly dont have a clue! Thanks

That’s not something can be answered without having a look Depends where current gas pipe is etc May already be an existing capped off gas pipe in the property You need an engineer to take a look for you
