Unclear if roof is leaking - unsure how to progress

Hi. A roofer re-roofed flat garage roof that was leaking in the corner. This garage has been converted into a bedroom. The room has not yet been re-plastered to remove the damage caused by the leak. It's difficult to tell if there roof is leaking a little further along. I don't what to touch the plaster ceiling to find out. Would I get the roofer back out to confirm or is this more the a plasterer to remove plastered ceiling to confirm leak/no leak? If no leak I will need plasterer to fix the ceiling. Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Great idea to ask the roofer to check it however if you plan to re-board the ceiling anyway it cant hurt to take the existing plaster down in order to inspect it fully.

I would call the roofer back to make sure all the felt is completely water tight and Have the plasterer come in and take the existing plaster off.

For peace of mind, you could have the roofer back, although if ceiling needs repairing could get plasterer to check for visible water ingress by taking part of damaged ceiling down an looking from underneath...
