Dishwasher no longer heating water

Hi, my ikea medelstor dishwasher (from 2018) seems to have stopped heating the water, even after cleaning filter, running with salt and on hottest setting. I’m frustrated at the idea of having to replace it after only 5 years but wondering if there’s any hope in trying to have it repaired. Grateful for any advice! Thanks in advance, Alison

Hi Alison, Some of the IKEA medelstor dishwashers have a resettable fuse in the heating element that sometimes trip, if you reset this it may solve your problem. If it doesn't then you can purchase a new heating element and replace the current one. This would save having to purchase a new dishwasher.
