You can get a coating I have used on areas around swimming pools that will improve slip resistance to R11 or better. It’s easy to use and will only need 1 or 2 coats to increase safety on most hard surface floor finishes. Before you buy or fit any floor tile you can check the R rating or see if it’s been pendulum tested. Most terazzo finishes are by nature very slip resistant but can even be improved upon by coating with products we use.
