Price of vessel depending on boiler make. Labour would be around £100 - 130 to replace.

What expansion vessel is it ?
White for potable water or red for heating .
If it's inside the boiler you should not be taking the case off.
If your case seals are damaged and you are unaware and the boiler could potential leaking products of combustion in to the room.

I would agree with the previous engineer you would need to find out which of the pressure vessels is letting by then the price accordingly and I would say £110 is a very reasonable price?
