Damp Proofing

what is the best brand of slurry? Is slurry ready for use when bought from store?

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.51 PM

Hello Recently I had my garage floor painted with slurry by a tradesperson. Unfortunately, after painting the first coat, the floor showed some darker patches on the floor. When the tradesperson came back to paint a second coat, he only covered the darker patches presumably with a different slurry, because the colour is not the same as the original colour. Now my garage floor looks awful as it has two colours of slurry on the same floor. The tradesperson is not coming back to do any more extra work. Could anyone kindly offer me advice on how to use slurry? Do I need to prepare it before I paint it on my garage floor? What is the best brand of slurry? Your prompt advice is greatly appreciated. Kam

If you’re counting on slurry to keep the damp out of a floor you’re in trouble. Damp in a floor needs membrane under the sub . Youll be forever in trouble with this :
