How to abut a warm flat roof to cold pitched

I am trying to figure out how to do this as I assume the warm roof abutment would neutralize the sofit ventilation of the cold pitched So how to a reintroduce these openings above the abutment point of these two roofs that would comply with building regulations please ?

When abutting a warm flat roof to a cold pitched roof, create an air gap between them. Introduce ventilation openings above the abutment point in the pitched roof's soffit. Install ventilation grilles for proper airflow. Consider eaves ventilation if necessary. Consult a professional to ensure compliance with building regulations.
