Is it worth to buy internal pivot door from overseas

I have been trying to find a supplier for an internal pivot door (glass) for a size of 2.5m x 2.5m (supply and fit), but it was either too big of a space for a single door or the cost is astronomical. I have found several suppliers from abroad which cost a lot cheaper. I was just wondering if it worth to source the door from broad and have local fitter to install it? Need advice please, thank you.

Hi Baroim,
Great question. Most materials and supplies are from overseas and particular materials need to be approve by British Standards. Just make sure they will not affect this and also you need to keep in mind about your warranty and how that would affect you if any issues with the parts become faulty. Just make sure you will be covered and that they have a policy where they will cover you with this. Also how long would it take for them to replace parts etc as this would be an issue personally.

The matter is not where to buy, it is at the time of selling the property.
Regulations are modified very often.
So from terms of security, fire hazzard, danger etc. this can have an impact.
Cheap is not always the way.
