Cost of replacing top half of half brick porch
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.08 PM
Hello I have a terraced house in South East London with a half brick wooden porch. The top half (i.e. the wood) as well as the porch door need replacing, ideally with uPVC. Some questions for the tradespeople on here: 1) Is it correct to assume that it would be cheaper to keep the brick part of the porch rather than replace the whole porch? The foundation is concrete. 2) What range am I looking at cost wise for this job? Many thanks in advance

Keep the brick if all ok.
All windows attached to a door have to be either laminated or toughened glass.
The larger the expanse of glass, the higher the price.
Try Fab Frames,Newton Abbot for all upvc?
Good luck!
Mark.

Yes would be cheaper to leave brickwork/base in place and fit new UPVC frames/doors.
Contact DWC Home Improvements for competitively quoted price
