Using Integrated appliance as freestanding
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.51 PM
Hi, Have bought a new property. I'm going to do the kitchen reno in a years time. In mean time I thought of getting integrated appliances but using them as freestanding because i want to eventually have a integrated setup for my kitchen and don't want to end up spending twice. For the dishwasher and washing machine there is space under counter top but no cabinet like door. Will it be okay to use the space as is and install it there. For the fridge there is currently a tall empty space before the area where kitchen cabinets start from. I'm going to use that to keep the fridge and I think the previous owners also used it. I intend on using a fridge stand for keeping it secure and for ventilation purposes. Is it okay to use for a short while or any pointers about this arrangement? and can I use a fridge stand for keeping the fridge secure? Any points i need to bear in mind with this arrangement? Thank you in advance Barkha
