Water leaks to downstairs ceiling behind toilet pipe when the head shower is running

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.35 PM

Eveytime the head shower is running, it leaks water behind the cold feed pipe that connects to the toilet as I can see this from the hole I have made in the downstairs ceiling. How would the shower be connected near the toilet and does this mean I have leaking pipes within the wall? Thank you all for your answers and input but this was solved. Was just a case of sealing the gap between the wall and floor tiles.

Yes more than likely. Get someone to check it out. Many, myself included have a camera we can put down to double check. Don't leave it leaking.

It is really a case of making a site visit in order to see what exactly is happening. If the leak only happens when you run the shower I would suggest that there is a problem with the shower tray or the shower set up that you have

If water only leaks when the shower is running then you have an issue within the shower sealant or the waste pipe below the shower, no live pressured pipes leaking
