Best way to cut upvc door?

Hi, personally I’d take the door off and lay it on tresses, mark out your cut for the letter box and drill a hole in each corner big enough for a jigsaw blade to fit and cut it out that way. Best of luck!

If your cutting into panel it's quite easy find centre( width ) of area you want to fit letter box ,the letter box should split into two pieces find centre of letter box line the 2 marks up place part of letter box onto door ,draw around letter box (please ensure it is square,straight etc drill hole into each corner inside of the marking use jigsaw and cut to each circle /hole. Then put line of silicone around hole fit letter box into he tighten up using screens that should be provided. It is same if fitting into transom in principle but you will need longer blade and make sure it is wide enough on both sides to take letterbox inside is normally thinner. Be careful of any glass etc

obviously needs to be a flat panel surface, and cut with a jigsaw or multi tool

Piot hole it and then jig saw the back set size.

It's not advisable to try to cut your own letterbox into a UPVC door. However, you can fit or replace an existing letterbox into a UPVC door

Make a pilot hole and cut it out with a jigsaw make sure you have it on a flat surface you are comfortable cutting it out on .
