Would this help keeping part of house warmer

I have an outside shed with a wooden door. There are 2 walls that back onto rooms inside. One is for our toilet & one for a large walk in cupboard/larder. The ceiling of shed is under our bathroom. If we replaced wooden door+ frame with a uPVC one, would that help with retaining heat in both rooms? The outside wall is cavity, but am i right in assuming the walls that back onto the 2 rooms are not a cavity wall. Cheers for any replies
