Channel drain joins and drainage
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.51 PM
Hey there everyone! I'm going to install some channel drainage on my driveway. I'll need to cut a section at some point. What's the best way or product to use to seal the joins to get them watertight? Second question is about the drainage of the water itself. The channel drain is intended to catch water from entering the garage from the driveway. The fall goes toward the garage (was like that when we bought the house) and not easily remedied without huge cost. Anyway, I cant drain the water from the garage threshold without laying metres and metres of channel to get it to a border going round various corners of the building and bay windows. So, what's the best way to drain, just punch a hole and let it drain through the block paving sand as the rest of the driveway does? The driveway is block paved and permeable so its not a great volume of water to contend with. Advice very much appreciated. Thanks, Michael Thanks, Mike
