Visible light around chimney breast. Nails through felt.

I jave recently had a job done on my roof. I had a small leak on one side of my chimney breast. A company came a d did a job replacing tiles and lead work and also repointing the chimney. The leak was still appearing 3 weeks after they have been very difficult in returning. I also have clear day light either side of my chimney as I look up through my loft hatch. I also now have 3 or 4 tile nails coming through the bitchemn felt. Will these issues cause me problem in the future. Am I right in asking them to return? Thank you.

Yes this will be a continuation of problems, it would be best to try get them back or you will have to contact another company to pop out and find the problems and repair.

No you should not see any daylight in loft if roof was replaced, as for nails coming through felt maybe they just missed couple rafters when felt and battening

My gosh, firstly sorry someone has posed as a roofer and ruined work on your roof! You have 2 options at this point, tell them to fix the issue and do the work correctly or you'll involve trading standards, or (what I'd do) call trading standards, have a official survey done on their work, take the company to court with the aid of trading standards to get your money back and compensation for stress etc. Regarding the work, it's scrap by the immediate sound of things so get a 3 separate firms from mybuilder.com to come quote rectifying the job or totally redoing it.
