22mm shower valve inlet, can I adapt to 15mm?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.07 PM
I recently removed an external shower valve and it has 22mm inlets. I finding it difficult (impossible) to find external valve that isn't 15mm. Can I use a simple reducer? Or does any have a reasonable external valve for 22mm inlets?

If it’s just the pipe reducer then that will be fine to use 👍🏻

You can by getting a compression reducer, however it will bring the shower valve away from the wall. You would need some deep shrouds to hide the holes. Also there may be play when done

22mm to 15mm reducing coupler, however it will stick out the wall abit further, better to redo the pipe work
