The formula to calculate the volume is: Volume = Length × Width × Depth Given the dimensions you provided: Length = 8 meters Width = 2.6 meters Depth = 200 mm = 0.2 meters Let's calculate the volume: Volume = 8 meters × 2.6 meters × 0.2 meters = 4.16 cubic meters Now, let's calculate the quantities of cement, sand, and chippings required. The proportions of these materials can vary depending on the desired strength of the concrete. Here, I will assume a common mix ratio of 1:2:4 (cement:sand:chippings) for a standard concrete mix. To calculate the quantities, we need to convert the volume to the number of bags. The bag weight and volume may vary depending on your region, so I'll use some common values: 1 bag of cement = 50 kg 1 bag of sand = 50 kg (assuming density of 1.6 tonnes/cubic meter) 1 bag of chippings = 50 kg (assuming density of 1.6 tonnes/cubic meter) Quantity of cement (in bags): Cement = (Volume × Cement proportion) / Bag volume Cement = (4.16 cubic meters × 1/7) / (50 kg/bag) Cement = 0.094 bags (approximately) Quantity of sand (in bags): Sand = (Volume × Sand proportion) / Bag volume Sand = (4.16 cubic meters × 2/7) / (50 kg/bag) Sand = 0.237 bags (approximately) Quantity of chippings (in bags): Chippings = (Volume × Chippings proportion) / Bag volume Chippings = (4.16 cubic meters × 4/7) / (50 kg/bag) Chippings = 0.474 bags (approximately) Therefore, you would need approximately: 0.094 bags of cement 0.237 bags of sand 0.474 bags of chippings Note: The quantities mentioned above are approximations and may vary depending on the specific mix ratio, density of materials, and bag sizes available in your area. It's always a good idea to consult with a local supplier or contractor for precise measurements and materials required for your project

4-16 cubic meters of concrete Order ready mix bro! Failing that u need 5.5 bulk bags of ballest and 22 bags of Portland cement thrown through a mixer at a ratio of aprox 5 to 1 Best bet is order 4.5 meters if ready mixed concerted! To work out quantiles it is length times width times depth your job works out to 4.16 cubic meters of concerete Hope this helps bro? Ready mix every day 3 guys on barrows be laid in 1 hour it’s like 85 barrow loads! Respect Dave

The answer is good but way more information than anyone needs you can go on sand or gravel calculator and just type in your length x width x depth and it’ll give you the weight you need for whatever material your looking at , as unless your buying concrete straight off of a lorry to do it your self In separate materials it’ll be ordered in weight not metres cube

Agree with above in terms m3 calc however when was bags of sand or cement last at 50kg they are 25kg a bag. Also be far cheaper getting a ton bag delivered is possible. They have around 750kg to 800kg sand in them. And usually 5/6 bags cement to bag depending on your strength.
