How big is a manifold for underfloor heating for a three bed house ground floor?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.35 PM

I have been told that the manifold is huge and needs at least 1000mm space in the kitchen .is that correct? The underfloor heating will be from an oil combi boiler

Depending on the number of zones it can if the pump etc are included. If you are heating ground floor with ufh and 1st floor with radiators it would be smaller. Always remember an engineer will need space to work on it should anything become faulty.
