heat pump Mitsubishi Zubadan

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.46 PM

I have a heat pump on a house I just bought 1) How do you re-fill radiators with water. Ive only ever been used to combi boilers 2) I have a septic tank and found out the valve was stuck open on the heat pump running water into the tank. I didn't realise there would be a valve on the system that could do this.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

the best option is to call the company that installed the system so they can explain how to operate the system

Ref - drain valve this should be checked and replaced by a heating engineer ASAP, you will be spending and wasting water, an engineer with G3 certification to work with unvented systems. Ref - radiators Your heat pump would more than likely also include a thermal store, this is like a hot water cylinder but use as a heat exchanger to transfer the heat to your radiators, the radiator water system should be a closed system and therefore can be worked on separately to the heat pump, If you would like me to look at this please call to book an appointment. We are Hayling Island based. Thank you
