Easy joint paving grout stains

Hello , It is more likely to be the pigment in the grout that is casing the staining rather than the oil. One easy fix to try is mix vinegar with hot water (1 part vinegar to 4 parts water) soak the stains with the vinegar solution and wipe away with a rough sponge but don’t scrub to hard. Or try a grout haze cleaner from Amazon Matt

Hi there, If you are sure it's EasyJoint, then you are more then likely correct on the linseed Oil. This is a very common thing to happen, especially with the current weather conditions. The best solution to this staining is time. Some solutions/chemical/potions may change the appearance of the staining but, this could cause other issues. A jetwash won't do anything but, with that being said. You should be able to jetwash it after 2 weeks. ***Edit*** I wanted to edit my answer after reading others. If you are sure it's EasyJoint, this is NOT a grout. The suggested methods of rectify the staining is irrelevant from those who suggest that your patio has been grouted. There's very little "mess" to clean up after installing EasyJoint.

As with all grout have to clean up asap to stop staining. Can't emphasise how important it is to clean,clean n clean again. Unless u have sealed slabs b4 hand is a good chance the staining with get into sandstone as very porous2

Staining will always be apparent if it has stained the stone If it's the silica based grout it will soften when wet and harden when it's dry again I suggest you pressure wash as soon as possible and when you re-grout make sure you clean all residual waste straight away Grout is the key a great looking job even if fitting has not been the best And bad/messy grout can be unforgiving
