Pipes in earth leading from plastic down pipes/guttering

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.50 PM

Hi, I have had a camera put down my drain pipes. The camera went down the plastic piping leading into clay piping. There are parts of the clay piping that are not aligned. One particular part the thickness of the clay pipe is above the one connecting. It hasn’t rained in ages and some water is pooling there. It appears that it is not leaking. Believe the terminology is displaced pipes. I am about to concrete that area so was wondering if it is okay to leave or get fixed,, thanks

You should get this issue sorted before concreting over it, if the pipe is displaced it will be leaking into the ground or foundation which will cause bigger problems in the future

Good idea and most definitely needs fixing before concrete is lated as it will crack and perish the concrete and you will have a bigger problem fix the problem before is much better 👌
