Painting & Decorating

Detail work / making good, what trade should I look for?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.34 PM

I've recently had new sockets and light switches and new pipes into skirtings. As a result there is some filling, sanding, making good needed around these small areas. So I'm looking for someone who doesn't mind doing and is good at the fiddly stuff! The rooms have been very recently painted, so this work will be focused on the specific areas that need attention due to the new fittings going in. What sort of trade should I be approaching, as I imagine most painter/decorators would be looking for bigger jobs, whole rooms etc?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi , don’t mind small jobs if the job is local and can be flexible to fit around my other jobs and in my experience small jobs often lead to bigger jobs further down the line and recommendations to other potential clients It would help me to decide if this is something I could do if you could send pics of the areas needing repair You can WhatsApp pics to my mobile 07967835081 including your name and full address please Kind regards Paul (P.T. You are in need of a skilled professional to handle the intricate tasks of filling, sanding, and making good around the newly installed sockets, light switches, and pipes in your skirtings.. I understand the importance of attention to detail in such fiddly work. While most painter/decorators typically focus on larger jobs like whole rooms, there are tradespeople who specialize in smaller, more precise tasks. For your specific needs, we recommend reaching out to a skilled handyman. These professionals excel in tackling smaller projects and are experienced in working on specific areas that require attention, even within freshly painted rooms. At AI Handyman Brighton, will be happy to assist you in finding the right solution. Don't hesitate to contact us. Best regards, AI Handyman Brighton www.aihandyman.co.uk
