Can I take down breeze block to adda door on my garage

I have a single line of breeze block on my garage which is part of a new build and it might be in the way of o have a door fitted can this be done

If it’s in a garage, it’s unlikely that it’s low bearing so yes you can take it down. However it would be good to actually see photos to make sure The Roof isn’t resting on it

It can be done but it may need a lintel put in as it still can be supporting roof or ceiling joists

Will definatly need a lintel to support weight above, the wall plate secures the roof to wall not to act as lintel. I'd take out more of the wall than needed and add a pier to strengthen things back up but with knowing lengths and proposed location of the new door hard to fully advise

Yes, it is possible to cut in a door way from house to garage, regardless of roof sitting on wall or not, I would put in a 8x4 timber little if hight is not an issue, if not, maybe a catnik linttle, but this will have to support the wall above the door and the weight of the roof plus a possible weight of 5+ tonnes of snow in winter
